Natural bodybuilding means bodybuilding the good old-fashioned way: working out, eating right, and not taking steroids or other unhealthy artificial enhancement products. Following a natural bodybuilding routine is the best way to build muscle the right way. Getting the results you want from natural bodybuilding starts with developing a solid routine. Developing a routine that works takes time, but it’s more than worth it because you won’t have to worry about unnecessary exercises, injuries or lack of motivation. Once you choose a plan, it is essential that you stick to it.
The growth of your muscles can be brought about through rigorous training but then the nutrient it gets from what you eat also plays an important role. Protein is an important nutrient in building bigger muscles because an essential 1 gram minimum of this nutrient for each kilo of your body weight suffice the normal and most natural muscle growth. Don’t take a meal without this nutrient even when you find other bodybuilders that take less of the needed percentage from their diet.
The routine you choose needs to incorporate a solid nutritional plan. It is a popular misconception that you need to reduce your calories when you work out. For short term weight loss, maybe. But that is not sustainable. When you begin a successful bodybuilding routine, you need to feed those growing muscles and that means more calories. A balance of protein, carbs and fats with phyto-nutrients coming in from a few servings of vegetables and fruits plus plenty of water is all you need. No supplements, no meal replacement shakes, just good solid food.
A backup plan for when you can’t make it to the gym. You should have with you a set of exercises that can be done at home or in a hotel room when you are on the road. Just because you can’t make it to the gym, doesn’t mean you have an excuse not to exercise. A minimally prepared workout space at home and a set of bodyweight exercises should get you through those days when your schedule gets too tight.
The most effective bodybuilding routine for building back muscles is probably the simplest. Warm up well – need we tell you that at all? Get on to the mat, lie down flat on your back. Bring your knees up. Slide a palm under the small of your back, is there a gap there? If there is, slide a small folded towel under it, don’t stuff it, just enough to give it some support. Now fold your hands across your chest and using your back muscles, attempt to sit up.
You have just learned to manage your time. You now have time to do each activity each day. You can now devote the proper amount of time to your bodybuilding routine. This means that you will get your routine in at the appropriate times. And you will train properly, rather than rush through it in an effort to get onto something else.
